Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa (Mādhyandina)
Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa is a Brāhmaṇa of Śukla Yajurveda. Śatapatha means “having 100 Pathas”. Yajñavalkya is considered to be the author. Both Madhyāndina Śākhā and Kānva Śākhā contain this Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa. It has 14 Khaṇḍās in 100 Adhyāyas and 68 Prapāṭhakas. Rituals such as Agnirahasya and Aṣṭadhyāyi are described in this Brāhmaṇa.
Its Mādyāndina recension is divided into 14 Khaṇḍas divided into 100 chapter or Adhyāyas, 68 Prapāṭhakas, 436 Brāhmaṇas and nearly 7180 Khandikas.
