The Śikṣā are texts those deal it with letters, accents, quality pronunciation and phonetic rules for pronouncing the sounds in Vedic mantras and how to chant those mantras. There are a large number of such texts dealing with Vedic recitation and its pronunciation in correct way. Yajñavalkya Śikṣā, Kātyāyanī Śikṣā, Parāśarī Śikṣā, Nāradīyā Śikṣā, Śaunaka Śikṣā, Gautami Śikṣā are some among them.
